Gustavo Averbuj is Chief Executive Officer of Ketchum Argentina, Ketchum Regional Director of Latin America and a Senior Strategist at Ketchum’s Corporate Practice. He has been a marketing and PR consultant for more than 20 years and trained senior executives for many clients including: Philips, Hitlon, Dupont, Kimberley Clark, 3M, Unilever, Nokia, Roche and Cadbury, among others. Gustavo is a former editor for several magazines. He is an ex-president and current member of the Argentine Public Relations Council. As a marketing consultant for national and international firms, one of Gustavo’s strategies won a golden CLIO Award in the home-products segment and a Silver CLIO Award for the same category. He has also received national creativity and marketing prizes and gained a scholarship from the British Council. In 2010 he was awarded by the Embassy of the United States in Argentina, in recognition for outstanding support to the development of bilateral relations (between US and Argentina). Gustavo holds an MBA of the University of Buenos Aires, where he is a former professor in the Economical Sciences Department and editor of its post-graduate scientific magazine.
He does pro bono work for NGO´s and has trained more than 400 organisations. He specially supports cancer research institutions and has coached several organizations on PR and Communications strategies.
Ariel Rosenberg is currently Vice President in Ketchum Argentina. He has more than 21 years of experience working in corporate communications, crisis, and brand PR.
From his different positions, he has developed strategic and successful communication programs for local and regional brands from different industries. In the automotive industry Ariel have worked for Nissan for 3 years, in the launch of Kia in Argentina and then as responsible for the communication program. Also implemented the Toyota ongoing media relations strategy during 2 years and delivery media trained for General Motor. His experience also included counseling and services to companies such as: Delta Air Lines, Turkish Airlines, 3M, Dupont, Dow, Hilton, Booking.com among other. Previously he worked at Burson-Marsteller as account executive for six years. He studied journalism at the National University of Lomas de Zamora.
